In 1969, the British Post Office introduced a new kind of stamp product known as Prestige Stamp Books, also known as PSBs. These attractive, well-designed books often comprise 16 to 24 pages of text and accompanying images, alongside four or five unique panes of stamps in combinations not found elsewhere. The earlier books contained definitive stamps only, but since 1990 commemorative stamps have invariably been included.
A Royal Mail Prestige Stamp Book can be about virtually any subject, company or event, but they usually tie-in with a particular stamp issue. Since the first 'Stamps for Cooks' issue, there have been more than 70 books produced and they are retaining their appeal. Check our current stock for more details and to see what's available.
